Come One Come All!
Fairy Gardening® 101 Classes are taking place on:
Wednesday evening June 19 at 6:30 pm
This hands-on class is a fun and easy way for would-be fairy gardeners to learn the basics associated with creating and caring for a miniature garden. The class is appropriate for women, men, girls and boys of all ages. Junior fairy gardeners are encouraged to wear fairy wings or wizard's hats.
Cost $40.00 per person
· Container for planting
· 3 Fairy Flowers
Fairy Gardening® is a fun and easy way to exercise your green thumb year round. Colleen Smith, freelance writer and gardener describes the tiny concoctions this way, “Imagine a Lilliputian landscape brimming with enchantment. In fairy garden scale, a miniature fence has slats the size of a pinkie finger. A minuscule square of moss suggests a lawn. A piece of flagstone the size of your palm becomes a patio. A tiny pan of water resembles a pixie pond.”
LMS master fairy gardener Jane Getsey, will teach the class and encourages gardeners to simply bring themselves and a healthy dose of imagination. Says Ms. Getsey, “Anyone can fairy garden! We’ll provide instruction, a bit of encouragement and some sample gardens for inspiration. From there, I’m always thrilled to see the unique masterpieces each gardener creates.”
LMS is a family-owned establishment founded in 1970. Today, this boutique garden center continues to thrive and specializes in growing annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs and all things Fairy Gardening®.
